The scapular is a cross-shaped pendant.
Front: At the center the Dove of the Holy Spirit, up the Sacred Heart of Jesus, left Our Lady of Mount Caramel, St. Christopher on the right, below the Miraculous Madonna.
In this version the back is equal to the front.

The scapular comes as work clothes, to protect clothing from dirt and wear. With time it became part of the religious monks wear.
It also means devotion to the Virgin Mary or the Saints.
